Whilst there is a general debate about the effectiveness of getting aid to developing countries, there can be no argument about the value of people having clean water. It is a sad truth that drinking dirty water remains the biggest cause of childhood mortality.
We have found that in schools where we have provided Aquafilters, there has been a reduction in pupil sickness, an increase in pupil attendance, improvement in learning achievement and parents have reported that they are spending less money on medicines.
As a not-for-profit charitable company, The Safe Water Trust keeps manufacturing costs to a minimum. Because our overheads are supported by a local trust fund, it means that every penny of your donation goes directly towards providing Aquafilters where they are desperately needed.

Please note that we at The Safe Water Trust, in furthering our primary objective, currently concentrate all our efforts towards providing Aquafilters for use in developing countries. We do not sell Aquafilters to the leisure market in developed countries.
